The Most Powerful Disowned Selves
An intensive day to meet the parts
we have exiled most forcefully.
A meeting with the parts that scare us most, and that have the most to give
Seeing resistance
You learn to recognise the mental and physical resistance at work even when "we try to be conscious", including the kind you do not think you have.
A map of the disowned
Together we co-create a map of the Disowned Selves, from the most violent to the most subtle, to help you find your bearings when they emerge, in you or in the people you support.
Facilitator centring
You train to stay centred when very intense energies emerge, with concrete exercises in preparation, awareness and handling the moment.
Is there something you have been trying to let go of for a long time that keeps coming back? Perhaps it is no accident: a part of you resists. And it has its reasons.
The parts we have pushed away most forcefully are also the ones holding the most energy. This is why resistance is not an obstacle: it is a clue.
This day is devoted to following those clues all the way to the most powerful Disowned Selves. We will not study them from a distance: we will meet them, in a small group and in a safe space, in you and in the people you support.
For those who facilitate and for those who want to work on themselves
The module is designed for trained Voice Dialogue facilitators who want to work on themselves and refine their ability to facilitate others in this territory. It is also open to anyone who simply wishes to explore their own Disowned Selves, with the support of the facilitators present in the group.
What we will explore
The day alternates theory, demonstrations and experiential exercises.
The clue to follow
How resistance shows up, in the mind and in the body, and what it holds. With exercises to catch the kind you do not think you have.
A co-created map
Together we build a map of the great families of disowned selves, from the most explosive to the most subtle, and of how to meet them safely.
The preparation
Centring, presence and practice to welcome the most intense energies without being overwhelmed. With experiential exercises.
